Do you like to sing?
Would you be interested in singing online with other singers during this time of social distancing? Then Oakville Choral Virtual Fall Practices are for YOU!
Oakville Choral Society has been a part of the Oakville community for over 50 years. We are a non-profit cultural organization whose aim is the promotion of choral singing and music appreciation. While we are unable to practice live this Fall, we are holding weekly virtual sessions that will allow you to sing, interact with other singers, and learn music in a way that is instructional, fun, and interactive. This will allow you to continue to sing, gain musical knowledge, and enjoy the social aspect which all combine to enhance the community spirit and camaraderie among the choristers, but in a virtual way.
We are a non auditioned choir and the only prerequisite for membership is a love of singing and a willingness to learn. Some musical knowledge is helpful.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You can register now for an EARLY BIRD discount on or before 15th August. The Fall registration fee includes All music, which will be provided to you through digital means before the practices begin. THE EARLY BIRD discount of $135 for the session is available until 15th AUGUST. In addition, we are encouraging young people to join and offering a $50.00 fee to anyone between the ages of 18 and 30. On 16th August, the fee goes up to $150.
